He was predeceased by: his parents, Moritz R. Lehrer and Anna E. Lehrer (O'Brien); his wife Jane Lehrer; and his siblings, John Lehrer and Anna Mae Lehrer.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Lehrer of Texas, Joan Povalawski (Jerry) of Idaho and Patty Hickerson (Brad) of Niles; his grandchildren, Carolyn Shay (Bob), Jessica Powers (Matt), Megan DeLaFuente (Michael), Kathy Hornbacher (Andy), Kelly Borah (Lucas), Mike Kretchman (Sarah), Scott Kretchman (Jennifer), Rachel Fulmer, Spencer Calley, Ashley Calley (Matt Klein), Samantha Ford (Tyler) and Wyatt Hickerson; and his sisters, Monica Carlson (Larry) and Loretta Zielinski. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
