She is survived by: her children, William Carter of Niles, Johnnie Carter of Tennessee, Wilma Kathlene Carter Grice of Cassopolis and Dewayne Whittaker of South Bend, Indiana; her grandchildren, Tonia Pertuska (Matt), James Carter, Dennis Grice and Carrie Salinas (Mano); her great grandchildren, Logan, Tyler and Riley; and her sisters, Phyllis Welsh (Pinky) of Detroit and Cleta Caldwell of Niles. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
