He is survived by: his wife Sharron K Lane; his children, Diana Thompson (Lee) of Milton, Jean Blakely (Doug) of South Bend, Richard Lane (Pam) of Elkhart and Tammie K. Carpenter South (Robert); and his siblings, Kenneth Lane (Mary Ann) of Niles and Patsy Meade of Niles Michigan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to either Alzheimer's Association or Heartland Hospice.
