He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Barr and Blanche L. Barr (Hinkson); his grandson Gary A. Butler; and his siblings, Donald, Wayne, Doris and Shirley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melody Kurty (Wil) of Niles and Lisa Butler (Gary) of Niles; his grandchildren, Daniel Dykema (Amber), Derek Dykema, David Dykema (Brittany), Bradley Oswald (Krystal), Amanda Nowling (Lucius), Nichole Butler, Shannon Korolis (Tony) and Michael Bowers (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Avery, Devon, Jax, Lola, Sloane, Vera, Isom, Laytin Taylin, Ariana, Rorian, Anthony, Bryce, Kyra and Matthew; and his sister Joyce Neimyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
