It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Pointer of Niles, Michigan, born in Hinsdale, Illinois, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow W. Doss and Latha Doss (ZaRodney); her sisters, Sandra Skinner and Sharon Rodick; and her son-in-law Pat Leonard.
She is survived by: her children, Tamera Leonard of Buchanan and David Pointer of Berrien Springs; her grandchildren, Brandi Kelley (Jeremy), Ashley Lawson (Dan) and Aaron Kelley (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Adrianna, Morgan, Brady, Easton, Maximus, Ayden, Chris, Adabell and Jaxon. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
