He is survived by: his wife Debbie Alkire of Niles; his pet Jules; his children, Erin Ivy (Frank) of Galion, Ohio, James "Bo" Alkire of Niles, Jeremy Alkire of Niles and Matthew Alkire (Nicole) of Niles; his grandchildren, Alexis Phillips (Zac), Faith Alkire (Donavan), Caleb Alkire, Destiny "NeNe Bug" Alkire, Jaden Rey (Jackson), Ethan Alkire, Nickolas Alkire, Chloie Alkire, Cameron Alkire, Kaden Alkire, Matthew "Dude" Alkire, Karson Alkire, Reese Alkire, Alissa Alkire and Alivia Alkire; his great grandchildren, Theo, Silas, Raven and Jazmyn; his sister Glenda Baldwin; his nieces and nephews, Crystal Planck (Stephen), Elizabeth "Izzy" Planck, Charley Baldwin and Jonathan Baldwin (Alexandria); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aleaha, Sofia and Noah; and his close friend Joe Easterling.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services (615 E Main St, Niles, MI 49120). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Mission Hills Memorial Gardens (61453 M-51, Niles, MI 49120).
