She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pavla and Johanna Pavla (Hermandorfer); her foster sisters, Leona Neal and Helen Matheson; and her husband Dr. Steven Tarangle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stefanie Hile (Bob) and Alana Gonzalez; her son-in-law Elvin Gonzalez; her grandchildren, Andre Hile, Vova Hile, Amante Gonzalez (Ashera), Talisa Gonzalez, Brandi Caldwell (Derek) and Bryan Bradley; her nieces, Janet Pagendarm and Joan Comendan; and her in-laws, Dolly Revega, Tim Tarangle (Myrna) and Georg Nusser (Regina).
