She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Ball and Audrey Ball. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Nelson; her children, Tom, Terri Grimes and Tracy Nelson Davoust; her grandchildren, Stephanie Barber (Josh), Cecilia Sanchez (Robbie), Melissa Smith (Brian), Casaundra Hamrick (Josh), Stephan Davoust and Josh Davoust; and her great grandchildren, Gage Nelson-Spanninger, Kenna Smith, Bralen Smith, Sophia Smith, Gabryle Barber, Gideon Barber, Zoe Barber, Zahra Barber, Danica Hamrick, Delilah Hamrick and Christopher Sanchez.
