He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Herman and Miriam Otis Pinnell (Powledge); and his brother William Pinnell. He is survived by: his wife Lorie Pinnell; his children, Robert P. "Parker" Pinnell (Kathryn) of Virginia, Sherry Hamrick of Jasper, Sara Pinnell of Buchanan, Kerry Pinnell of Dowagiac and Kelsey Pinnell of Monesson, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Julian Harmon, Izabella Pinnell, Miriam Pinnell, Evan Pinnell of Ellie Hamrick, R. J, Madeline Pinnell, Beau Pinnell, Emmie Hamrick, Jenesis Hicks, Malachi Murphy, Jerry Hicks and Alexzander Pinnell-Granger; his siblings, Miriam "Diane" Pinnell of Seattle and Russell Pinnell of Georgia; and also Jerry Hicks of Covert.
