In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Billy leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Billy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Gentry and Laura Fulmer Gentry; and his wife Nancy Bestle Gentry. He is survived by: his children, Susan P. Drake of Three Rivers, Michigan, Gregory L. Gentry (Sandra) of Niles, Mike Gentry of Niles and Jeffrey D. Gentry (Lynn); and his stepsons, Mike Allen (Linda) of Buchanan and Rex Allen (Trisia) of Santa Fe, Texas.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hoven Funeral Home (414 E Front St, Buchanan, MI 49107). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
