He was predeceased by: his father James Nelson; and his brother Damon Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Karen Nelson (Weaver); his wife Laura Nelson (Honaker); his children, Shane Aaron Nelson (Michelle), Brandon Scott Nelson (Valerie), Brandy Love, Natasha Hammond and Lindsey Scott; his grandchildren, Kevin Nelson, Triston Whitehead, Kade Nelson, Shantell Nelson, Alexis Love, Austin Love, Andrew Love (Kat), Juan Galindo, Hailey Jastrzembski, Dyllan Kincaid, Jaylen Kincaid, Keaton Kincaid, Tyler Garab, Brenna Nelson, Brooke and Abby; his siblings, Kelvin Nelson of Niles, MI and Jennifer Nelson of South Bend; and his aunt Sharon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Portage Road General Baptist Church (1765 Portage Rd, Niles, MI 49120).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners, St Jude or Wounded Warriors charities.
