Shirley A. Chytil Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Chytil of Newport, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Walter Kern; her husband Edward Chytil Sr.; and her siblings, Beatrice Atkinson, Jean Mentel, Walter Kern and Douglas Kern.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Chytil Jr. (Bea), Jeff Chytil (Carol) and Jill Grossheim (Kevin); her grandsons, Jeremy Chytil and Edward "EJ" Chytil III; her great grandchildren, Alyssa and Charlotte Chytil; and her sister Claudia McCulloch.
Shirley also volunteered at the American Cancer Society selling Carnations for donations.
