It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion N. Yoas of Newport, Michigan, born in Carleton, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry R. Calkins and Martha E. Calkins (Webster); her husband Raymond G. Yoas; her children, Ivan E. Yoas and Wanda A. Koenig; and her sisters, Reta Hedges and Meldonna Grant.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Diane Yoas and Klaus Koenig (Vickie) of Newport; her grandchildren, Gary Yoas, Rockwood, Todd Yoas (Melissa) of Carleton, Susanna Pitock (Wayne) and Martha Westphal (Tim) of Lakeland, FL; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Miller, Jr. (Caia), Kurtis Miller, Alexandra Koenig, Keith Yoas, Dillon Yoas and Blake Yoas; and her great great grandchildren, Emmeline and Emmett.
Memorial contributions in Marion's memory are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
