He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Matteocci of Newport, Michigan; his sons, Louie Matteocci (Denise) of Dearborn, Michael Matteocci (Kim) of Newport, David Matteocci (Arlene) of Denver and Mark Matteocci (Yuri) of Chelsea, Michigan; his sister Marina Diretti (Massimo) of Rome, Italy; his grandchildren, Craig, Cristen, Amber, Michael, Marina, Jade and Luna; his great grandchild Emersyn; and his nephews, Daniele and Danilo Diretti.
Memorial contributions in honor of Luigi are suggested to the St. Jude's Children Hospital.
