We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2021, at the age of 67, Lawrence Barstad Jr. of Newport, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Donna Guess (Jim); and his grandson Damon Austin. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Barstad; his children, Sandy Bruce (Daniel), Eric Barstad (Lana), Christa Thomas (Joshua) and Paula Friedrick (Christopher); his grandchildren, Selena, Adriana, Pippa, Sawyer, Liliana, Alison, Myra, Rhett, Maverick, Rose, Addie, Bryella and Kendyll; his great grandchild Olivia; and his siblings, Clay Barstad (Carol), Delbert Gentile (Shirley), Charlotte Moskaitis (Richard), Barbara Verriest (Bob), Brenda Brown (Bob) and John Barstad (Debbie).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry's memory may be made to St. Anne's Food Closet, 2420 North Dixie Hwy. Monroe, MI 48162.
