She was predeceased by: her father John Murphy; her brother Timothy Murphy; and her brother-in-law Joseph Emerick (Sue). She is survived by: her mother Mary Murphy (Karnicki); her husband John Flint; her children, Beth Lechy (Chad), Shannon VanWashenova (Mike) and Andrew Flint (Megan); her grandchildren, Abigail, Blake, Braden, Adam, Wyatt, Sophie, Tyler and Austin; and her siblings, Jay Murphy (Julie), Sue Emerick, Janice Raymo (Jordy Czarnik), Kenny Murphy (Theresa) and Dawn Rafko (Dave). She is also survived by her 30 nieces and nephews, 54 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Inc. (1201 S Telegraph Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (8109 Swan Creek Rd, Newport, MI 48166). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Academy.
