He was predeceased by: his parents, John II and Gladys Oerther (Hoffman); and his wife Barbara Alice Oerther. He is survived by: his children, John K. Oerther IV (Jane Renae), Edward J. Oerther (Joy), Beth Anne Case, Steven L. Oerther (Lynette) and Mark K. Oerther (Kathleen); and his sisters, Barbara Shelby (Robert) and Kathryn Timmins (Gerry). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
