He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Greenwood and Mary Greenwood (Trowbridge); his children, Tammy Cupp and Douglas Bailey; his sister Peggy Lawson; and his former wife JoAnn Greenwood.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Ellison Bailey Greenwood; his children, Mary Daniel (Todd), James Greenwood (Stacy), Timothy Sachs, Eric Sachs and Bridget Bailey-Rojem; his sisters, Linda Goins (Elmo), Nancy McPherson (John), Julie Kelley (David) and Jennifer Rosser (John); his son-in-law Kevin Cupp; and his brother-in-law Don Lawson. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Gary are suggested to Union Street Missionary Baptist Church.
