He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gregory and Edna Sonoras; his granddaughter Melissa; his brothers, Edward and Charles Sonoras; and his daughter-in-law Maryellen Sonoras.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Sue Sonoras, James G. Sonoras (Stacy Martin), Carol Cornell and John Sonoras (Cindy); his grandchildren, Angela Parker (Aaron), Kelsey D. Cornell, Justin Cornell (Tessa), April Thomas (Michael), Joe Sonoras (Jennifer) and Joel Sonoras; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Savanna, Dominic, Alyssa, Carter, Aiden, Carson, Cameron, Annabelle and Rose; his great great grandchild David; and his siblings, Joan Sonoras and Pat Sonoras (Barb). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
