He is survived by: his wife Linda Dattner; his children, Donald Dattner Jr. and Sandra Rumbaugh (Eric); his grandchildren, Angelique Ellison (Tony), Joshua Rumbaugh (Sherilyn), Michael John Dattner, Theressa Poupard (Robert), Jeremy Rumbaugh and Courtney Butler; his great grandchildren, Madalynn, Robert Poupard, Annabelle, Amelia, Audrey Ellison and Elise Butler; and his sisters, Constance Peel, Barbara Goodchild (Robert) and Patricia O'Connor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Donald are appreciated towards St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
