He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Suydam and Martha Suydam (Nagel); his siblings, Billie Suydam, Burley Suydam and Viola Houston; his sister-in-law Alta Suydam; his sons, Kevin Suydam and Bruce Suydam; and his son-in-law Michael Ginther.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Suydam; his children, Mark Suydam and Barbara Ginther; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Suydam; and his sister Joyce Sonak. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He had a generous spirit and volunteered his time with 4H Stepping Stones and driving patients to their appointments for the American Cancer Society.
