He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Frank and Helen Laird Winkler; and his brother Frank Albert Winkler (Joyce Constant). He is survived by: his wife Anna Winkler (Chopp); his children, Sheryl Johnson (David) of Pittsburgh, PA, Albert Charles Winkler (Cindy) of Imperial, PA, Tonia Campbell (Bill) of Flat Rock, MI and Gena Murphy of Flat Rock, MI.; his grandchildren, Billy Campbell, Eric Campbell (Andrea), Zachary Johnson, Hannah Ham and Alyssa Johnson; his great grandchild Liam Campbell; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Winkler, Timothy Chopp (Carol) and Charles Chopp (Laura).
