He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Reese and Edith Reese; his wife Judith; his son John David; and his sister Nesta Steman.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Reese of Ada, Ohio and Marty Waugh of Ada, Ohio; his grandchildren, Devon, Alexandra and Danielle Waugh; his brother-in-law Roland Steman of Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia; and his nephews, Douglas Steman of Lake Norman and Brian Steman of Virginia.
