She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Oberle and Mary Jane Oberle (Crisp); her husband Oscar Lenart Backman; her son William Wehner; and her siblings, Anna, William, Dorothy, Evelyn, Bernice, Joseph, Ruth, John, Gordon, Ruby, Violet and Leila.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Wehner (Suzanne) of Gwinn, Connie Blakely of Newberry and Shawn Munch (Colleen) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
