He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Dartt and Alice Dartt (Harford). He is survived by: his children, Angela Swinson (John) of Seward, Ronald Jr. (Becky) of Traverse City, Jean Simi of Newberry, Delmar Dartt of Newberry, Carol Dartt of Rudyard, Brenda Kinny (Tim) of Brimley, Becky Podleski (Robert) of Sault Ste and Marie; and his brother Delmar Dartt (Carol Hanson) of Toledo. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
