He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Foley and Ursula Foley (Thompson); his wife Joyce Roberts; his stepgrandson Clifton Gideon; his great grandchild Campbell Pike; and his siblings, Nadine Foley and Thomas J. Foley.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Russell (Roger) of Adrian, Anne Gideon Lima (James) and Jane Lodewyk (Bradley) of Bay City; and his siblings, James Foley (Jean) of Newberry, Yvonne Lelli (John) of Shelby Township, Tim Foley (Jean) of Cheboygan, Patricia Foley (John Wiznerowicz) of Midland and Michael Foley (Ann Routt) of Ypsilanti. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
