He is survived by: his wife Alyce Detmer of Newberry; his children, Carla Freeman (Mark) of Newberry, Jennifer Swanson (Ken) of Newberry and Jared Zenker (Amber) of Superior, Wisconsin; his sisters, Barb Zandi of Muskegon and Nancy Arndt of Iron Mountain; and his brothers-in-law, Steven Detmer (Mary Lou) of Houghton Lake, Rick Detmer (Dawn) of Houghton Lake and Kenny Detmer of Mount Clemens. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
