He was predeceased by: his father William Collins; and his brother Thomas Collins. He is survived by: his mother Carol Hedger of Newberry; his children, Jamie Smith of Wisconsin and Joshua Smith of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Bentley Smith and Kamara Smith; and his siblings, Steven Carlson (Eliza) of Kaleva, Jean Ison (Mike Jordan) of Newberry and Ron Collins of San Diego, California. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
