He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Carney (Messer); and his brother Kenneth F. Carney. He is survived by: his father Kenneth W. Carney of Newberry; his sister Denise August (Artie) of Miami, Florida; his child Taylor Henry (Emanuel) of Toledo, Ohio; his stepchildren, Howard Bliss IV (Katie) of Newberry and Shauna Phillips (Dustin) of Newberry; and his stepgrandchildren, DeShawn Henry of Toledo, Shayla Henry of Toledo, Howard Bliss V of Newberry, Delaney Bliss of Newberry, Michael Bliss of Newberry, Hunter Phillips of Newberry, Robert Phillips of Newberry, Brian Phillips of Newberry, Dustin Phillips Jr. of Newberry and Zoey Phillips of Newberry.
