He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie and Goldie McCormick (McNamara); his sister Mona Bruce; and his brother-in-law Earl "Hutch" Hutchinson. He is survived by: his wife Gail of Marquette; his daughter Cassie McCormick (Joe) of Negaunee; his grandchildren, Devin, Olivia, Owen, Jude and James; his siblings, Roy McCormick (Gail) of Marquette, Bernard McCormick (Sharon) of Lewisville and Dale McCormick (Vickie) of Newberry; and his sister-in-law Donna Hutchinson of Escanaba. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to his loving family in his memory.
