He was predeceased by: his parents, Eero Hautala and Jennie Hautala (Pohja). He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann of Newberry; his children, Donald (Linda) of Taylor, Jon (Tamara) of Shakopee and Kay Bondy of Lansing, Michigan; his sister Anna Miller of Newberry; his stepgrandson Demian Allgeyer of Taylor; and his nieces and nephews, James, Richard Miller, Gayle of Newberry and Patricia Miller of Newberry.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private family gathering will take place at the Beaulieu Funeral Home.
Memorials may be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Finlandia University in his loving memory.
