She was predeceased by: her husband Francis "Butch" Varty; her son James Varty; her grandson Jourden Varty; and her sisters, Rosemary Livermore and Prebble Browning.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Lee (Ron) of Drummond Island, Frank Varty (Roberta) of Rexton, Howard Varty of Rexton and Francis Varty of Rexton; and her brother Russell Jourden of Trout Lake. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
