It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Luanna Papist of Newberry, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Amy Luanna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Amy Luanna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Cummings and Mavis Cummings (Holbrook); her son Joshua Papist; and her brother Wesley Cummings. She is survived by: her husband Steven Papist; her children, Stephanie Papist (David Pigeon) of Newberry and Amos Papist (Patsy Fitzik) of Newberry; her grandchildren, Ava, Ethan and Emerson Papist; and her brother Lonny Cummings (Rosie Betterly).
