He was predeceased by: his grandson Devon William LaMarr Smiley. He is survived by: his wife Teri "Cecelia" Miller Bonny; his children, Melissa Smiley (Trevor) and Roy Miller; his grandchildren, Drianna Smith and Trenton Smiley; his sister Cheri Inglis (Paul); and his sisters-in-law, Doris Hardenburgh and Kim Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in his memory can be made to the Newaygo, MI AA/Alano Club and the AA/Alano Club of Deland, FL.
