He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Trudell and Velma Trudell (Pratt); his grandsons, Michael Trudell and Scott Trudell; his wife Charley; and his siblings, Mariet Ford (Rita), Zerelda Nantelle (Zer), Loretta Auw, Margaret Groeneveld (Marge), Diane (Kielchski), Lyle, Theodore (Ted) and Clarence (Buzz).
He is survived by: his children, Randy, Rita, Lance, Kim and Stacy; his grandchildren, Katie Brooks, Joseph Paniccia, Renee Paniccia, Kip Kasperzak, Erin Kasperzak, Robert Kasperzak and Noah Kasperzak; his great grandchildren, Elijah Trudell, Envie Brooks and William Clayton Brooks III; his siblings, Robert Trudell (Bob) and Izetta Johnson; and his great-niece Jenn Trudell-Rosely.
At the time of his death, he was in great physical health, but he developed Alzheimer's Disease years ago, and on June 19 of this year, he suffered a stroke at his home in Newaygo.
