He was predeceased by: his sister Carrie Kuikstra; and his grandmother Elsie Felix. He is survived by: his mother Christeen Devroy of Newaygo; his children, Amanda Devroy of Newaygo, Michael, Jessica of White Cloud and David Devroy of Newaygo; his grandchildren, Bianca, Alanah, Brayden, Seth, Delilah, Jaycen and Pyper; and his brother Rich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
