With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melbourne Robert Dolphin Jr. of Newaygo, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Dolphin; his siblings, Shirley Lappley, Dorothy Szekely and Donald Dolphin; and his stepson Steve Combs.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Graves (West); his children, Dennis Dolphin (Debbie), Debbie Beye (Ray), Pat Bigorowski and Anne Dolphin; his stepchildren, Novella Johnson, Rosella DeWitte, Debbie Wolfsen (Dave), Ross Graves (Beth), Michelle Davis (Rick) and Mitchell Graves (Kristin); and his daughter-in-law Joan Combs. He is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
