He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Reed and Flora Reed (Coburn); his children, Jeff Reed, Sheryl Reed and Matthew Mark Reed; and his brother Larry Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bennett Reed; his children, Lynn Reed Jr. (Julie), Lora Darbyshire, Kelly Wilson (Daren) and Becky Wittenberger (Josh); and his sister Emma Croff (Norman). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
