Lloyd Childs Obituary
Lloyd Childs age 83 of Croton Hardy passed away September 23 at his residence. He was born June 13, 1930 in Margie, Minnesota the son of Terance and Vernice (Noggles) Childs During his working years he owned and operated a saw mill. He also worked at Michigan Chair, Managed the Sandy Beach Campground for many years. He worked in maintenance and as a mechanic as well.
Lloyd loved woodworking and loved to shoot pool. Surviving are Their children Linda Lambrix (Terry), David Childs (Jillian), Jeffrey Childs (Tina), Christine Garcia, Steven Childs (Robin), Don Childs (Tammy), & Kimberly Lambrix, 30 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley in 2011 his parents, a daughter (Judith), and a great-grandson (David) , and 12 brothers and sisters. .
Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 1:00 Pm at the Heckman Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bennett officiating . Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM
