He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Reid and Katherine Reid (Gasaway); his wife Linda Cole; his son Scott Martin; and his sister Carol Reid (Linda Reid).
He is survived by: his children, Larry "Rusty" Beaton (Melissa) of Newaygo, Brenda Dreyer (Casey) of Cedar Springs, Kris Martin of Grand Ledge, Becky Martin of Newaygo, Amber Davis (Ron) of Newaygo and Amy Crawford (John) of Newaygo; his daughter-in-law Karla Libolt; and his sister Faith Dietz (Dale). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
