He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Wanda Hadley (Maycroft); his wife Beverly; his children, Christi Marsh (David), Belinda Nickerson (Duane Bodhaine), Ray Williams III (Becky) and Jon; his grandchildren, Karissa (Tyler), Jacob (Riley), Joseph, Luke, Alexis, Molly, Benjamin, Berlyn and Ryatt; his great grandchild Kinsley; his siblings, Tom Aukerman, Kathy Karsten (Tom), Pat Wight (Ron), Vicki Berends (Greg Conrad) and Julia Hadley; his parents-in-law, Barbara and Howard Shafer; his close friend Adolf "Al" Perales; his father Lewis Francis Hadley; and his brothers, John Hadley and Bill Hadley. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
