He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sage Hoeven and Hazel Ver Hoeven; his wife Betty; his children, Dave of Holland, Ruth Ver Hoeven of Holland, Doug of Holland, Vivian Ver Hoeven of Holland, Deb of Holland and Steve Slenk of Holland; his brothers, Ed and Lee; and his parents-in-law, Shirley Ver Hoeven and Bob Plaggemars. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
