He was predeceased by: his parents, John Waringa and Evelyn Waringa (Dykstra); and his brother-in-law Harry Senkow. He is survived by: his children, Rachel Waringa of Mount Pleasant and Jonathan "JD" Waringa (Alicia) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Avery Waringa and Ryker Waringa; his sister Sharon Senkow; his nephew Kelly Senkow; his former wife Mary Waringa; and his pet Livy.
