She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Peterson and Gertrude Peterson; her husband Linus Eaton; her son David Eaton; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Gerencer.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Gerencer (Joseph), Denise Balding (James), Donald Eaton and Diane Rusco (Randall); her grandchildren, Aaron Gerencer (Amanda), Mark Gerencer, Selina Temple (Troy), James Balding Jr. and Carla Plett (Robert); and her sister Patricia Foster. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Joanie can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
