In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jaunita had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jaunita may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude M. Covert and Dorothy Mae Covert (Snyder); her husband Roger Howell; and her siblings, Martin Covert and Mildred Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia DeJong (Peter), Paul Howell (Dauri), Marshall Howell (Susan), Nancy Allensworth and David Howell (Rachel). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, & 3 great-great grandchildren; and by several nieces & nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Luther Bible Church (1018 230th Ave, Newaygo, MI 49337).
