She was predeceased by: her parents, Ilo Koning and Velda Koning; her daughter Mary Ann; and her siblings, Ray, Keith, Lois, Goerge and Irene.
She is survived by: her son James Valdez of New Mexico; her grandchildren, Amanda Valdez and Cortona Valdez; her daughter Julie VanBoxel Jr. (Peter) of White Cloud; her grandsons, Dylan VanBoxel and Peter VanBoxel III; her children, Jana Valdez of New Mexico, Anita Dare, Ryan Dare and Jax O'Bester; her great grandchildren, Amiyah, Icker and Gabriela; and her siblings, Robert Koning (Barbara), Christine Sund, Jerry Koning (Jana), Jack Koning, David Koning, Sharon Swan and Ross Koning. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
