He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reed and Bernice Reed (Wood); his grandson Ronan Reed; and his sisters, Marilyn Reed Black and Rose Reed Meier.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Grunow; his sons, Vincent Reed of Newaygo and Todd Reed (Lisa) of Sturgis, Michigan; his stepchildren, Anna and Craig; his grandchildren, Alex James (AJ), Zachary, Wyatt, Jake, Jayla, Jude and Kenna; his great grandchildren, Cadence, Oliver and Everly; his brother Clinton Reed; and his mother-in-law Nancy Hazen.
