He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Elaine Fader (Putnam); his wife Sandra Suppes; his father Vern Fader; his brothers, Jerry Fader and Robert Fader; his grandson Randall "Coot" Weidman; and his father-in-law Elmer Suppes.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Clement, Timothy Fader (Angie), Ricky Fader, Mechelle March (Jeff), Rhonda Ahrens (Fred), James Fader, Jr. (Kelly) and Scott Fader (Michelle); his stepchildren, Michael Gwizdala, Shellie Smirnoff (Randy), Richard Gwizdala (Kristen), Shannon Gwizdala and Barbie Rich (Harley); his brothers, William Fader (Norma) and Douglas Fader (Colleen); his sisters-in-law, Mary Fader and Rita Fader; his mother-in-law Marion Suppes; and his close friend Nancy Hazen. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
