He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Besmer and Millie Besmer (Morrison); his former wife Letha Mary Lou Besmer (Ray); and his stepson Christopher Rivard. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Besmer; his children, Curt Besmer (Michelle), Mark Besmer (Terri), Linda Duba (Kim), Steve Besmer (Cindy) and Bill Besmer (Deb); and his stepchildren, Beverly Ruber (Harold) and Don Rivard (Amy). He is also survived by many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
