It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Norrine Battige of Newaygo, Michigan, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervine Pankow and Hester Pankow of Scottville; her husband Wilfred T. H. Battige (Bill); and her siblings, Kathlyn Dobias (James), Florence Pankow and Ervine Pankow, Jr..
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Loretta Pankow; and her children, Michal Becker, Peggy Bennitt (Blair), Kevin Battige (Paula), Randy Battige (Kerrie), Kelly O'Neil (James) and Leslie Fritch (Robert). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Right to Life of Michigan.
